Reverend Steve Parker
Reverend Steve Parker is a native of Chicago, Illinois but he has called the Commonwealth of Virginia "home" for nearly half of his life. He matriculated at Hampton University and earned the Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He began his professional career with Enterprise Rent-A-Car's Management Trainee Program and quickly rose to become an accomplished Branch Manager. After five years with the company, he transitioned his leadership acumen over to the banking industry where he worked as a Branch Manager and Financial Specialist at Wachovia Bank.
In 2005, Reverend Parker accepted his call to the gospel ministry, and in 2007 he was licensed to preach at Shiloh Baptist Church in Alexandria, Virginia. Shortly thereafter, he enrolled in the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. In May 2010, he graduated Magna Cum Laude, earning the Master of Divinity degree. After seminary, Reverend Parker continued his academic pursuits by completing the Summer Program in Theology at the University of Oxford in London, England. In January 2011, he was ordained at the Cedar Street Baptist Church of God in Richmond, Virginia.
Reverend Parker transitioned from banking to full-time ministry upon receipt of the call to serve as Director of Ministries at the St. Peter Baptist Church in Glen Allen, Virginia. Prior to joining the St. Peter family, Reverend Parker was an active member of the Cedar Street Baptist Church of God (Richmond, Virginia), where he faithfully served as an Associate Minister and the Superintendent of the Sunday School Ministry. |

The Reverend Vanessa Carter
Reverend Vanessa B. Carter was born in Vineland, New Jersey, but was raised in Richmond, VA. She is a 2007 graduate of Virginia Union University, Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology, where she earned the Master of Divinity Degree. In April 2008 she furthered and completed studies at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Allied Health Professions Graduate program.
Her passion is to minister healing and deliverance to those who are hurt and/or grieving. God has called her to establish a ministry that supports the needs of women in desperate situations throughout the Richmond Metropolitan area. The Delores Foundation became a non-profit organization in July of 2009.
Rev. Carter's roots are grounded deep in the church. She has served in various music ministries in churches throughout the city and surrounding counties. She was one of the original members of the spirit-filled group Ecclesia.
Rev. Carter was licensed to preach in March of 2006 and ordained in May of 2009 at St. Peter Baptist Church in Glen Allen, under the pastorate of Reverend Dr. Kirkland R. Walton. Currently, she serves as an Associate Minister and as Chairperson of New Horizons Congregational Care Ministry.
Rev. Carter is currently employed with the State of Virginia. Reverend Carter is an enthusiastic, accomplished gardner. She is a powerful, prayerful woman who seeks Him daily and shares His joy wherever she is.

The Reverend Anthony Gray
Reverend Anthony L. Gray was born in Baltimore Maryland to Mr. & Mrs. Joseph C. Gray Sr. He has been married to Vera E. Spencer-Gray for 27 years. The Grays have been blessed with 3 children: Amanda, Spencer and Jaimi.
Reverend Gray attended the University of Richmond from 1978 through 1980 and studied Masters courses at the Presbyterian School of Christian Education in Richmond, Virginia. Reverend Gray also attended the International Interdenominational Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia and Saint Joe Bible School in Slidell, Louisiana.
Reverend Gray was licensed to preach the Gospel on January 19, 1986, at New Life Missionary Baptist Church in Slidell, Louisiana where he later served eight months as the interim Pastor. God has blessed Reverend Gray to be used in ministry as an Associate Minister at Clarkston Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia where he was ordained in 1990. He was then called to Pastor Metropolitan Baptist Church in College Park, Georgia where he served until November of 1994. In
1995, Reverend Gray moved his family to Richmond Virginia, where he continued in ministry as an Associate Minister at North Gayton Baptist Church until 2005, joining the St. Peter Baptist Church Family in October of 2006. Reverend Gray serves as an Associate Minister and a Christian Education facilitator in Church School, Men's Bible Study, and Vacation Bible School.

 Reverend Thelma Greenlee, St. Peter Baptist Church

The Reverend Thelma Robinson Greenlee
Reverend Thelma Robinson Greenlee is a native of Richmond, Virginia. She is the third of four children born to the late John and Minnie Watts Robinson. She is married to Wallace Greenlee, U. S. Air Force, Retired. They currently reside in Glen Allen, Virginia and are members of the St. Peter Baptist Church, where Reverend Dr. Kirkland R. Walton, is the Pastor.
Rev. Greenlee was educated in Richmond, VA, graduating from Armstrong High School. She continued her education at the Argubright Business College, in Battle Creek, Michigan, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Secretarial Science; at Virginia Union University, she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a Master of Divinity from Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University (Class of 94).
She pursued further studies and training in the fields of Clinical Pastoral Education at Virginia Union University, Richmond Memorial and Veterans Administration Hospitals; Gerontology at Virginia Commonwealth University, VUU and University of Michigan, and Hospice Care at Johnston-Willis and The Retreat Hospitals.
Rev. Greenlee was ordained a Deacon and later licensed to preach the Gospel at the Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church, Richmond, VA. There, she was Director of the Board of Christian Education, preached and sang on the Inspirational Choir. In May 2000, she was ordained to the Gospel Ministry at St. James Baptist Church in Goochland, Virginia. There, she taught Adult Sunday School Classes, Bible Study, preached and was leader of the New Members Ministry. She also organized the Women's Support Ministry.
Presently, Reverend Greenlee is an instructor at St. Peter Baptist Church, where she facilitates Church School, New Member and Vacation Bible School classes. Reverend Greenlee has exercised her gifts as Secretary and 1st Vice President of the Minister's Division of the Tuckahoe Association, member of the Goochland Ministers Conference, secretary of Richmond and Vicinity Ministers Union, and member/workshop facilitator of the Christian Education and Leadership Developmental Team of the Baptist General Convention.
She presently acts as an Instructor at Virginia University of Lynchburg, a volunteer Chaplain at Henrico Doctors and Veterans Administration Hospitals, where she serves in their Hospice Program. She is actively involved in the Parkinson's Disease Program as a participant and a care provider.

The Reverend Donald McEachin
Donald McEachin is an attorney with the McEachin & Gee Law Firm which he founded with his friend and partner, Donald J. Gee. The law firm has successfully helped many Virginians get the resources they need and deserve after an accident or injury. The firm has also provided college scholarships for many hard-working students.
In 2007, Donald was elected to the Virginia State Senate. He represents the 9th district which includes Charles City County, and parts of Henrico County and the City of Richmond. He currently serves on the Senate Committees of Agriculture, Conservation, and Natural Resources, Commerce and Labor, General Laws and Technology, and Privileges and Elections. He is also a member of the Virginia Legislative Black Caucus, the Henrico County Democratic Committee, and serves as the Vice Chair for Outreach for the Democratic Party of Virginia.
Prior to his service in the Senate, he was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates from 1996 to 2002 and from 2006 to 2008. As a member of the House of Delegates, he was chief co-patron, with Senator Henry L. Marsh, III, of the Virginia Slavery Apology Resolution which passed during the 2007 General Assembly session. The resolution, the first of its kind in the country, set a precedent which other states have followed.
During Donald's career as a legislator, his focus has been to improve the lives of all Virginians. He has sponsored major legislation to increase the minimum wage and as a freshman senator, he worked to make necessary reform within the payday lending industry. He is particularly proud of his efforts to improve the environment, recently receiving the only 100% score from the Virginia League of Conservation Voters.
Additionally, Donald was a founding member and continues to work on the bi-partisan Housing Coalition which attempts to address some of the difficulties Virginians are experiencing with housing during these economic times.
Donald is a member of St. Peter Baptist Church in Glen Allen, Virginia and serves on the Finance Ministry. He is also a Life member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP); Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated; the Virginia State Bar, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
Donald is a 1982 graduate of American University and obtained a law degree from the University of Virginia in 1986. In May 2008, Donald received a Master of Divinity from The Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University.
He and his lovely wife Colette, who is a Deputy Richmond City Commonwealth's Attorney, have been married for 21 years. They are the proud parents of three wonderful daughters, Megan, Briana, and Alexandra. |

The Reverend Aamon R. Miller
Aamon R. Miller was born October 17, 1972 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Reverend Aaron and Deloris Miller. He is the sixth of eight children, with six sisters and one brother. He accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior and was baptized May 3, 1982 by Rev. George B. Hunter Jr. at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Chicago Heights. He attended Chicago Heights public schools, graduating from Homewood-Flossmoor High School in 1990.
In 1992, Aamon enrolled at Illinois State University (ISU) in Normal, Illinois as a Music Education major. While at ISU, Aamon served as the Music Coordinator for the campus gospel choir, The Interdenominational Youth Choir (IYC). And in April 1994, he accepted the Lord's call to the preaching ministry. Under the tutelage of his father in the ministry, Dr. A. William Staten, Sr., Aamon preached his trial sermon, "Where Is Your Faith?" on May 29, 1994, and was licensed to preach the Gospel on this same day. Immediately following, while still enrolled in college, Aamon joined Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Bloomington, Illinois where Reverend Frank L. McSwain, Sr. is the Pastor. Under Pastor McSwain's guidance and mentorship, Aamon developed his talents and spiritual gifts to serve in various ministry roles over 14 years, including: Associate Minister, Pastoral Staff, Praise & Worship Leader, Community Outreach Minister, Minister of Music & Worship, Audio Technician, Vacation Bible School Facilitator, Church Constitution Revision Committee, Married Couples Ministry Staff Member, Christian Education Department Facilitator, Website Administrator & Designer. Demonstrating evidence of his call to a higher work in the body of Christ, Aamon wasordained on June 6, 1999 by Pastor McSwain.
On May 13, 1995, Aamon married the former Gabriella C. Caldwell (BS - Social Work; MS - Counselor Education; PhD - Human Services Counseling). They have two daughters, Carolyn and Camryn, who are excelling in Henrico County Public Schools. Dr. Gabriella Miller is a Mental Health Clinician with Henrico Area Mental Health. As an employee of State Farm Insurance Companies, the Lord led Aamon and his family to Glen Allen in May 2008. He enrolled at the School of Theology at Virginia Union University and is a second-year student in the Master of Divinity program. His wife, Gabriella, has joined him at STVU in the same program, accepting her ministry call that will only serve to enhance their partnership in ministry. The Miller family united with St. Peter Baptist Church in November 2008. Aamon serves as an Associate Minister at St. Peter where he continues to develop his spiritual gifts of: Knowledge, Wisdom, Leadership, Shepherd, Teaching, & Exhortation.
His desire is to serve the body of Christ where he can use both his servant-leader's heart and his love for people to shepherd a congregation of baptized believers who desire to develop progressive, relevant ministries in both the church and the community. |

The Reverend Shirley Stanley
Ms. Stanley is a licensed and ordained Minister of Christian Education. She is the Minister of Children and Youth at St. Peter Baptist Church in Glen Allen, Virginia, where the Reverend Dr. Kirkland R. Walton is the Senior Pastor. She is also the Choir Director for the St. Peter Baptist Church Male Chorus.
From the Virginia Commonwealth University, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, and a Master of Science degree in Counseling. For several years, she was a cheerleading instructor and judge for NCA, the National Cheerleading Association.
Reverend Stanley graduated with honors from Virginia Union University Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology with the Masters of Divinity. She is a former Assistant Professor for Instruction for Virginia Union University School of Theology, Evans-Smith Institute.
Shirley Stanley is employed as a Regional Manager for the Virginia Department of Corrections Central Region. She was previously employed for eleven years as a Training and Development Coordinator for the Academy for Staff Development. She has facilitated workshops for several national and state organizations, churches and universities. She has also served as a probation and parole officer for the Norfolk Circuit Court; Norfolk Virginia. Reverend Stanley is a Certified Corrections Executive and is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC).
Reverend Stanley is a native of Virginia. She is the mother of three young adult children: Marcus, Angela and Eric. They reside in Henrico County, Virginia. |

The Reverend Sharon Elizabeth Taylor
Reverend Sharon Elizabeth Taylor is the daughter of Deacon Mortimer and Mrs. Mamie Taylor. She is a native of Warsaw, Virginia where she attended the Richmond County Public Schools and is a graduate of Rappahannock High School. Thereafter, she moved to Richmond, Virginia to attend Smith-Deal Massey Business College where she graduated and received a diploma in secretarial studies.
In May 2002, Reverend Taylor graduated from the Evans Smith Leadership Training Institute at Virginia Union University's School of Theology. On May 13, 2006, she graduated from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor, School of Theology, where she earned her Master of Divinity Degree.
Reverend Taylor was licensed to preach the Gospel in March 2006 at St. Peter Baptist Church where Dr. Kirkland R. Walton is the Senior Pastor. She has served as Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the Summer Youth Ministry, facilitator for the Ministry of Christian Education and is currently a member of the Bereavement Ministry.
In 2009 Reverend Taylor was selected as an Engle Fellow and attended the Joe Engle Institute of Preaching at Princeton Theological Seminary for a weeklong continuing education event designed to nurture and strengthen one's preaching vocation.
Reverend Taylor has been employed for twenty years with the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Social Services where she serves as Support Enforcement Specialist Senior.
